Monica is a graduate of Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS. She has over 30 years experience working in NS and NB. Monica has extensive post-graduate training in orthopaedics and manual therapy and received certification in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. 

    Monica's focus is to deliver highly effective treatment using manual therapy, exercise prescription, education and physical modalities to help her patients achieve maximum function and prevent injury recurrence.  

    Monica opened Fundy Physiotherapy along with co-owner Barb Sherwood PT, in 1992. Monica has a special interest in TMJ (jaw) and neck dysfunctions. 



    Barb graduated from Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS in 1982 and has been helping patients reach their optimum health goals ever since.


    Barb received certification in Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy following internationally recognized examinations and uses her advanced training and manual therapy skills to successfully assess and treat a wide range of injuries and mobility issues.  

    Barb opened Fundy Physiotherapy along with co-owner Monica Kilpatrick PT, in 1992. Barb particularly enjoys working with patients who present with various postural and muscular imbalances, as well as neck and vocal dysfunctions. 



    Chris is a UNBSJ alumni who completed his science degree in Biology and Psychology in 2004. He then went on to complete his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy in 2007 from Dalhousie University. 

    Chris has worked at Fundy Physiotherapy and the Saint John Regional Hospital since graduating in 2007. Over the years, Chris has worked with Senior league football teams and the UNBSJ Seawolves football team. Chris has worked in many different areas both within the hospital and private setting. Chris is most interested in postural and muscular imbalances, as well as neurological conditions such as stroke and traumatic brain injuries. 



    Kayla graduated from UNB Fredericton in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science and Honours in Medicinal Chemistry. She then went on to complete her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University, graduating with recognition for demonstrating professionalism, enthusiasm for physiotherapy and commitment to learning.

    She utilizes evidence based practice and current research to guide her treatment plans. In addition, she has previous experience in neuro rehabilitation as a physiotherapy assistant at the Stan Cassidy Centre prior to attending Dalhousie. While studying, she gained a special interest in orthopaedics and geriatric populations.



    Danielle completed her Masters in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University in 2018, after completing her Bachelor of Science from the University of Prince Edward Island in 2016. She is excited to join the team at Fundy Physiotherapy, and contribute to the unique and dynamic community of Quispamsis.


    She hopes to put into practice the knowledge and skills that she has gained through experiences in both private and public physiotherapy services. She has experience working with individuals with musculoskeletal impairments, acute care and pediatric patients



    Chad has been working primarily in private practice since graduating with his
    Masters in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University. After graduating, Chad took a position on P.E.I where he worked closely with the UPEI Panthers sports teams.


    He then transitioned back to New Brunswick where he continued working with university athletes with the UNB Reds. Although much of his focus has been with sports in private practice, Chad also works as a Physiotherapist with Horizon Health. He enjoys treating people of all ages and thrives on getting them back to all of their activities and improving their quality of life. Chad has focused his post graduate studies in several areas including
    concussion management, running assessments, dry needling, manual therapy, pain education, and strength and conditioning.


    In his spare time, Chad enjoys hiking with his wife and their two golden retrievers, spending time at the ski hill, and playing music.


    Certified Acupuncturist

    JungKwan Charles Lee was born and raised in South Korea, and moved to Canada in 2010. He is certified in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture from the Canadian College of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine, Bedford, Nova Scotia, including Traditional Chinese acupuncture, YNSA(Yamamoto New Scalp Acupuncture), Master Tung Style Acupuncture(Distal Needling) and Dr. Tan Balance Method(Distal Needling).

    In addition to acupuncture, Charles practices liquid moxibustion, cupping, auricular acupuncture, electro acupuncture, ear seeds and Chinese herb supplements, to aid the body in gaining strength and healing.


    Certified Pedorthist

    John Hooper received his Bachelor of Education Degree in 1986 from the University of New Brunswick with Science and Physical Education as areas of specialization. A Canadian Pedorthist since 2001, he is the owner operator of The Foot Health Center with clinics in Quispamsis, Bloomfield and Charlottetown P.E.I.John specializes in custom foot orthotics and orthopaedic footwear and combines personalized service, experience and technology to provide patients with the best possible custom products for all foot and ankle related issues. 


    Registered Massage Therapist

    Janis is a graduate from the Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage in Fredericton and has over 14 years of experience. Over these years she has expanded her education to include Structural Myofascial Release, Reflexology, Perinatal Massage and is a certified Doula.


    Her treatment approach involves the Assessment and Treatment of Musculoskeletal Dysfunction by using Swedish Massage and Advanced hydrotherapy Application to help reduce tension and increase flexibility, prevent injury, overcome the effects of surgery, correct postural imbalances and manage stress. 


    As a member of the CMTNB (College of Massage Therapists of NB) and of the ANBMT (Association of NB Massage Therapists), her goal is to provide knowledge and experience to her clients so they may live their lives to the fullest.   


    Registered Massage Therapist

    Josiane uses Swedish massage and techniques to help reduce tension and increase flexibility. Her treatment approach helps to prevent injury, overcome effects of surgery, correct postural imbalances, and manage stress. 


    Physio Aide 

    Carolyn has been working at Fundy Physio for over 20 years as a Physiotherapy Aide. She excels at keeping our daily patient care sessions flowing seamlessly. Carolyn enjoys hiking and travelling in her spare time. 


    Office Admin 

    Vicki just began working at Fundy Physio in 2018.  However, she has worked in various aspects of office administration since 2002.  In her spare time, Vicki enjoys travelling, cooking, and spending quality time with her family.
